When English Meets Fashion: Our WPG at the Haute Vision Event
On October 9th, 2025, we attended a fashion event by Haute Vision, featuring sustainable fashion and jewelry. At first, we had the chance to explore the various exhibitions, and at 7:00 p.m. there was a fashion show with models walking the runway.
In total, five of us attended — our teacher, Prof. Pichler, and four students. One of us was even interviewed because of her outstanding outfit!
It was a really exciting and special experience, not only because it was our first fashion show, but also because it was the first one in Linz. The event was organized by two women, and thanks to our teacher, we even made it onto the guest list.
As a follow-up, we were later invited by Iris to her shop Buddy & Murphy to take part in a workshop on fashion and sustainability. Iris shared her experience and insights about fashion, style, and the environment with us, and we enjoyed shopping around afterwards.
We loved both events and learned that good style and sustainability don’t have to exclude each other.
